What is the best way to go to Kailash Mansarovar? 

According to the pilgrims the two routes are the best way to go to Kailash Mansarovar i.e from Lucknow or from Kathmandu. From Lucknow and Kathmandu the main center point is Nepalgunj. The minimum cost from the both route be Rs 1.4 Lakh to 1.6 Lakh.

How do I go to Kailash Mansarovar from Nepal?

From Nepal you can go to Kailash Mansarovar by taking the flight from the Nepalgunj or by road you can go to Kyirong.

15 Days Kailash Mansarovar Yatra From Lhasa 
 
Days 01: Arrival at Kathmandu (1400Mtr) 
 
Arrival at Kathmandu airport, Hearty warm welcome for all the Yatries with Rudraksha Maala (garland) pick up from airport & transfer to Hotel. After dinner A short briefing about Kailash Manasarovar Yatra.
 
Accommodation – At Kathmandu -5 Star Hotel on twin sharing.
Food – Veg. buffet Dinner.
 
Days 02: Sightseeing  Kathmandu (1400mtr/4 hour)
 
After breakfast visit/Darshan at Pashupatinath Temple and  Jal Narayan (Budhanilakatha).Evening free time for Aarati Darshan/shopping and final preparations and packing for Mt. Kailash.

Days 03: Fly from Kathmandu to Lhasa:(3800Mtr/1130km+65km/1:25Minut+1hrs)
 
Our holy pilgrimage Yatra starts (8 AM)) with Swasti  vachan to have a blissful trip ahead. Transfer to Tribhuwan International Airport & flight to Gonggar airport Lhasa. Traditional welcome to everyone in Tibetan culture with Khada. From there it takes 1 hour drive  to reach beautiful capital city of Tibet Lhasa.
 
Lhasa is world famous for its sites of historical interest related to Buddhism such as Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple. Reaching hotel around 4pm Chinese time relax for the rest of the day and enjoy watching traditional Tibetan cultural dance(YAK DANCE) while having dinner.
 
High altitude acclimatization starts from Lhasa, start taking diamox tablets will help you  further during the trip.

Days 04: Acclimatize and sightseeing in Lhasa city(3800Mtr/3 hour)
 
Visit world famous Potala Palace square (7th century) which is 117m height.This palace is named after Mount Potalaka, the mythical abode of the bodhisattva. Your first view of the red-and-white Potala palace soaring above the Holy City raises goose bumps and magnificent view.
 
Next visit Jokhang Temple which is the spiritual center of Tibet and the holiest destination for all Tibetian piligrims & considered as most sacred and important temple in Tibet & visit Barkhor street, which is magical place showing the original outlook of Lhasa and is a place full of religious atmosphere and a world of exotic articles.
 
Spend the free day for acclimatization, everyone has to get acclimatized to the climatic conditions so take short walk around.

Days 05: Drive/Train  to Shigatse(3900Mtr/270 km/6 hrs by Drive)
 
After breakfast drive to Shigatse (6hrs ) or Travelling  by train (3hrs)  which is  world's highest railway line (altitudes ranging from 3,600 to 4,000 meters-248km), enjoying the high-quality services on the best train in China is also a wonderful experience of travelling to Tibet by train.
 
Sighatse is 2nd largest city of Tibet .After lunch visit to Tashillunpo Monastery Squire at Shighatse, it is a very famous and historical  monastery in Tibet. Tashilhunpo Monastery is one of the six Big Monasteries of Gelugpa in Tibet.Also called the Heap of Glory,it is located at the foot of Drolmari (Tara’s Mountain) Shigatse.

Days 06: Drive to Saga(4500Mtr/448 km/7hrs)
 
Early breakfast and continue drive to Saga. Today driving is quite long & on the way we provide Chinese veg.lunch. Our Nepalese supporting crew (Cook & Sherpa Staff) will meet in Saga.
 
Accommodation – At Saga – Standard Hotel on twin/2-4 Sharing.

Days 07: Drive to Lake Mansarovar(4500 Mtr/466km/7 hrs)
 
After breakfast drive towards The sacred Holy Lake Mansarovar. It’s very auspicious day for all people as they will have first glimpse of Holy Lake Mansarovar and view of Mt.Kailash from Horchu.
 
After completing the Local immigration will continue  your drive further and complete Lake Mansarovar Parikrama by vehicle. On the way we'll find a beautiful place to take memorable groups picture of Kailash, Mansarovar and Rakshashtal.
 
This is the moment all are eagerly waiting for hasarrived. The breathtaking view of Mansarovar and magnificent view of galaxy is something amazing memories for everyone to cherish for lifetime.

Days 08: Puja,hawan and Drive to Darchen(4700 Mtr/40 km/1 hours)
 
It’s very auspicious day for all Yatries. To be in the abode of god itself is a lifetime achievement. Everyone can just have bath at the banks of the Holy lake Sarovar, continued by Puja, Havana work meditation and spiritual activities etc. After lunch drive to to Darchen.
 
Accommodation – At Darchen standard hotel on 2-4 sharing.
Food – Veg. Breakfast /Lunch/Dinner.
 
Days 09: Drive to Yamdwar and trek to Diraphuk.(1st day Parikrama)(4900 Mtr/12 km/Walk 6 hours) 
 
After breakfast will have a short drive till Yam Dwar(7km). This is the starting point for Kailash Parikrama. After having the darshan of Yamdwar all the pilgrims start their first day trek towards Diraphuk(which is 12km trek) either by walk or they can hire horse as well as porter to carry your  bag packs while trekking.
 
Enjoy the serenity of nature around u with quite sounds of flowing river aside and have the view of Nandi Kailash while on the way.you will have the North face Mt Kailash darshan from Deraphuk.Never miss the opportunity of seeing the first sunrays on My Kailash early in the morning which is something spectacular and visual treat for everyone (GOLDEN MT KAILASH).
 
So never miss this once in a lifetime opportunity. Yatries who are not doing Parikrama will have Darshana at yamdwar and return back to Darchen and stay there until the Parikrama yatries come back to Darchen.

Days 10: Trek to Zuthulphuk.(2nd day Parikrama)(4790Mtr/22km Walk/8 -10 hours)
 
Wake up early, have very light breakfast and continue 2nd day Parikarma from Deraphuk to Dolma La pass(5620m) and proceed to Zuthulphuk (4790m). This is the day every pilgrims talks about the most important as well as difficult part of the journey throughout the trip, your trek is of 22 km and the trek goes steep climbing up  to Dolma La High pass (5620m) which is around 6-7 km and steep down to next flat valley via Gaurikunda.
 
Then you will walk another 3-4 hours to Zuthulphuk. Yatries who hired horse also should climb steep up to Dolma La pass and steep down towards Gaurikunda. Once this toughest part of the journey is completed there will be local small tea stalls where you can just have hot cup of tea or noodles just relax for some time and start towards zuthulphuk and you will see East face of Mt Kailash on the way.

Days 11: Trek to ending point and drive to Saga:(3rd day Parikrama)(4500 Mtr/10 km walk +500 km drive/7hrs)
 
Today is the last day of trekking. Wake up early morning have tea/coffee/cookies, your trek is of approximately  8 km & takes around 3 hrs to complete, you reach to the end point  where our bus will be waiting and we will drive to Darchen (parikarma Circuit ends) and merge with other members who were waiting. After breakfast return journey to Saga with wonderful memories & blissful experiences for lifetime.

Days 12: Drive back to Shigatse(3900Mtr/466 km/6 hrs)
 
After breakfast continue drive to Shigatse. Today driving is quite long & on the way we provide Chinese veg.lunch. Our Nepalese supporting crew (Cook & Sherpa Staff) will leave in Saga.

Days 13: Drive back to Lhasa (3800Mtr/270 km/6 hrs)

Days 14: Fly from Lhasa to Kathmandu(1400mtr/1130km+65km/1:25Minut+1hrs)
 
After breakfast transfer to International Airport  & flight to Kathmandu Airport, pick up and transfer to Hotel (flight 1 hr. 30 minutes-1130km/14000 meter).

Process, Term& condition 

  • Necessary to send color Scan copy of Passport of pilgrimage with name list 40 days before departure for permits processing.
  • We need 6 Month valid ordinary Passport but Diplomat passport is not acceptable. 
  •  PAN card scan copy is required (Indian citizen only).
  • Should deposit Rs 30,000 or USD $ 400 per person as advance before processing.(0 non-refundable)
  • Indian pilgrimage- Should send Original Passport to our Delhi office By courier (Blue dart)  10 days before from the departure date for China visa Process.
  • NRI/Other Citizen’s Original Passport will collect after arrival in Kathmandu.
  • Original voter (Indian citizen) ID card is mandatory to fly from India to  Kathmandu.
  • NRI have  to come1 day  prior to given itinerary date (For visa processing at KTM), extra night accomodaiton has to pay by self.
  • Indian passport holders  who are coming from Other  countries  to Kathmandu, have to come 3 day prior to given itinerary date.(for visa  procesing in Delhi),extra night accomodaiton has to pay by self.
  • Indian Pilgrims who are  70  Years or above:
  1. Has to submit Medical Report from Indian Government Hospital within 6 months before your journey starts. 
  2. Two direct relatives required.
  3. Has to deposit 1000$(USD) before the journey to the company (China GOVT) for any sudden demise.
  4. Health examination is done before Parikrama by Chinese doctors. once you get the approval from doctor then only you can go for Parikrama.
  • Before the Kailash departures, must clear all remaining Payment.

Cancellation Policy:

  • After processing the Kailash Permit $USD 200 will be charged as cancellation.
  • 5 days before of departure date, INR 25,000/ USD 0 will be charged as cancellation.
  • Same days before departure date, 70 % will be charged as cancellation

Travels Notice:

If suddenly program has changed Due to weather problem, natural disaster, landslide, technical problem and political movement, Chinese reason, all additional expenses should be paid  by themselves.

Don’t take any picture, tape record, newspapers, political things or anything related to Dalai Lama , If found in Tibet, on the spot China Army will control and take legal action.

General Information regarding Kailash Mansarovar Tour.

  • Insurance: Medical Insurance not compulsory for visa processing but will usefully you do insurance in case any health problem arises during travel.
  • Oxygen cylinder: Our Company will provide oxygen cylinder in emergency. Usually, oxygen cylinder is not required. However, some pilgrimage we prefer to carry their own handy oxygen cylinders. You may buy small portable cylinder in Tibet. It may cost approx. Yuan 20-30 per cylinder.
  • Food during Tour: Our cooks will be traveling with you during the entire trip.Our Staff will carry all necessary cooking items and will provide Indian vegetarian food during Yatra..
