The Lhasa-Namtso Lake tour is a captivating journey that allows travelers to explore the rich cultural heritage and stunning natural beauty of Tibet. This 9-day tour begins with an arrival in Kathmandu, followed by a flight to Lhasa, where the adventure truly begins.
Upon arrival in Lhasa, travelers will visit the iconic Potala Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and former residence of the Dalai Lama. The itinerary includes the sacred Jokhang Temple, known for its spiritual significance, and the bustling Barkhor Street, where visitors can immerse themselves in local culture and shop for traditional handicrafts.
The tour also features visits to Drepung Monastery and Sera Monastery, both renowned for their historical importance and beautiful architecture. After exploring Lhasa, travelers will embark on a scenic drive to Namtso Lake, one of Tibet's largest and holiest lakes, situated at an altitude of 4,718 meters. Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu (1400Mtr)
Arrival at Kathmandu airport, Hearty warm welcome for all the Yatries with RudrakshaMaala (garland) pick up from airport & transfer to Hotel.

Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu(5hrs/1400Mtr)
After breakfast visit at Pashupatinath Temple ,Rudra Avisekam and Jal Narayan (Budhanilakatha)/shopping.. After dinner A short briefing about Tibet tour .

Day 03: China Visa waiting/free day in Kathmandu(1400Mtr)

Day 04: Fly Kathmandu to Lhasa(60km/3800 Mtr/1:25 minute fly)
After Breakfast transfer to Kathmandu International Airport & flight to Gonggar Airport.Tradional welcome to everyone in Tibetan culture with Khada. From there it takes 1 hour drive to reach beautiful capital city of Tibet .Lhasa is world famous for its sites of historical interest related to Buddhism such as Potala Palace,Jokhang Temple.Reach Hotel around 4pm Chinese time relax for the rest of the day and enjoy watching Traditional Tibetan cultural dance(YAK DANCE)while having dinner. High Altitude Acclimatization starts from Lhasa,start taking diamox tablets will help you further during the trip.

Day 05: Full days sightseeing in Lhasa (Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Street) (5hrs/3800Mtr)
Visit world famous Potala Palace square (7th century)which is 117m height,This palace is named after Mount Potalaka,the mythical abode of the bodhisattva.Your first view of the red-and-white Potala palace soaring above the Holy City raises goose bumps and magnificent view & next visit Jokhang Templeis the spiritual center of Tibet and the holiest destination for all Tibetian piligrims& considered as most sacred and important temple in Tibet ,which is magical place showing the original outlook of Lhasa and is a place full of religious atmosphere and a world of exotic articles.Spend the free day for acclimatization, Everyone has to get acclimatized to the climatic conditions so take short walk around.

Day 06: Lhasa sightseeing Drepung monastery & Sera monastery (6hrs/3800Mtr)
After breakfast you are going to visit Drepung monastery which is one of the “great three” Gelug monasteries of Tibet, founded in 1416 by Jamyang choge, one of the Tsongkhapa’s main disciples. You can visit biggest monastery kitchen inside the monastery and enjoy Buddhist Sculpture Carving workshop near Drepung.
In the Afternoon, Tourists will visit Sera Monastery which is another one of the “great three” Gelug monasteries of Tibet. The hot attraction is the Monks debate at around 3 - 5 in the afternoon. In addition, you can tour the Tibetan religious scripture printing house; inside the monastery, you can see three sand Mandalas and colorful Rock Painting of Buddha.

Day 07: Drive to Namtso lake (4718Mtr)&Drive Back to Lhasa(80km/3800Mtr/3Hrs)
After breakfast drive from Lhasa to Lake Namtso, one of the four holy lakes of Tibet and also the highest saline lake in the world. On the way, you can see the snow-capped Nyenchen Thanglha Mountain Ranges and lots of nomads and their tent grazing yak and sheep densely-populated on the flourishing grassland (in summer). Besides, you can enjoy the view of the Sky-Road Railway with snow mountain background; While standing at the famous Lagenla Pass (5190m), you can see the stunning vista of Holy Namtso Lake.then we can enjoy our time enjoying a leisurely trek around Tashi Dor Island and along the lakeshore drive back to lhasa.

Day 08: Fly Lhasa to Kathmandu (60km drive+1130km/1 hrs drive 1:25Hrs flight/1400 Mtr)
After breakfast transfer to International Airport & flight to Kathmandu Airport ,pick up and transfer to Hotel

Day 09: Departure to Airport
Transfer to airport/onward your journey.

Process, Term& condition
- Necessary to send color Scan copy of Passport of pilgrimage with name list 40 days before departure for permits processing.
- We need 6 Month valid ordinary Passport but Diplomat passport is not acceptable.
- Should deposit USD 00 per person as advance before processing.(0 non-refundable)
- Original Passport & MRP Photo 4 pic will collect after arrival in Kathmandu.
- Before the departures, must clear all remaining Payment.
Cancellation Policy:
- After processing the Permit $USD 200 will be charged as cancellation.
- 5 days before of departure date, USD 00 will be charged as cancellation.
- Same days before departure date, 70 % will be charged as cancellation
If suddenly program has changed Due to weather problem, natural disaster, landslide, technical problem and political movement, Chinese reason, all additional expenses should be paid by themselves
General Information regarding Tibet Tour.
Insurance: Medical Insurance not compulsory for visa processing but will usefully you do insurance in case any health problem arises during travel.
Oxygen cylinder: Our Company will provide oxygen cylinder in emergency. Usually, oxygen cylinder is not required. However, some pilgrimage we prefer to carry their own handy oxygen cylinders. You may buy small portable cylinder in Tibet. It may cost approx. Yuan 20-30 per cylinder.
China Government Notice!!!- Don’t take any picture, tape record, newspapers, political things or anything related to Dalai Lama , If found in Tibet, on the spot China Army will control and take legal action.

Money exchange: Others currency (except UDS $) are not accepted in China but is acceptable in Nepal. Pilgrimage should exchange your Currency to Chinese Currency in Kathmandu/Nepal
