Overview

Kailash Mansarovar yatra is the spiritual journey; it is also a relatively high elevation for a large freshwater lake. It is located in the Kailash range at 4,590 m above sea level, near Lake Mansarovar (with a 90 m depth and a circumference of km) and Lake Rakshastal is supposed to be sacred in some other religions. According to the Bishnu Purana of the mountain states, its four faces are made of crystal, ruby, gold, and lapis lazuli at the heart of six mountain ranges, which is the symbol of the lotus. 

 In Hinduism, Kailash Mountain is the home of the lord of the lord Shiva. Lake Mansarovar is a personification of purity, and one who drinks water from the lake will be free from the sins, sorrows, and the pain and also go to the abode of Shiva after death. The lake was first created in mind  by Brahma, after which it manifested on earth. Hence, it is called Manasa Sarovaram, which is the combination of the Sanskrit word for mind and lake.

It is also believed that the lake is supposed to be the summer abode of the hamsa. Hamsa is the symbol of wisdom and beauty. Mainly Hindus are attracted to this trip. Many religions attach spiritual importance to particular places. And  people believe that they may achieve spiritual benefit.


 

Itinerary

11 Days Lhasa-Ali-Kailash Tour 
 
Day 01 Arrival at Kathmandu
 
 
Arrival at Kathmandu airport, pick up & transfer to Hotel’s/n kathmandu.1400Mtr.
 
Day 02 Sightseeing in Kathmandu
 
After breakfast sightseeing Pashupatinath Temple, sleeping Vishnu, Swayambhunath and Kathmandu Durbar square.
 
Evening  program briefing .(6 hour/1400Mtr)
 
Day 03 Fly from Kathmandu to Lhasa
 
After breakfast transfer to International Airport  and flight to Gonggar Airport  than 1 hour drive reach to beautiful  city Lhasa ( Tibet/China). Acclimatize in Lhasa . 
 
Flight 1 hr. 30 minutes-1130km/38000 mtr
 
Day 04 Acclimatize and sightseeing in Lhasa city
 
Visit world famous Potala Palace square (7th century), Jorkhang Temple and Barkhor. Spend the free day for acclimatize/N Lhasa.

Day 05 Fly  to Aali & cover  Lake Mansarovar
 
Earlier morning fly to Aali Gunsa Airport  and driver  to Holy Lake Mansarovar. It’s very auspicious day for all people who will have first glimpse of Holy Mansarovar and view of Mt.Kailash. After complete the local immigration, we will  continues drive and complete Lake Mansarovar round.
 
On the way, find a good place for spiritual activities such as the abode of god will be a lifetime - achievement. Pooja, Havana worship, meditation, holy bath/dip in Lake Mansarovar and overnight stay at (Chiu Gompa ) lake Mansarovar.
 
6 hrs/340km/4500 mtr.
 
Days 06 Drive to Yamdwar and trek to Diraphuk(19km)
 
 
Cora (circuit) drive begins (47 km) to Yamdwar and trek to Diraphuk (6 hours/12 km/ 4900 Mtr).
Overnight Dirapukh.
 
Day 07. Trek to Zuthulphuk (4790m/22kmwalk approximately 08 / 10 hours)
 
Wake up early and Parikarma continues, this is the day every pilgrims talks about the most important as well as difficult journey throughout the trip, the trek goes steep climbing up to Dolma La High pass (5620m) and steep down to flat valley via Gauri kunda. Then you will walk another 2-3 hours to Zuthulphuk.
 
Overnight Zuthulphuk.
 
Day 08. Trek to ending point and drive to Ali via Tirthapuri 
 
Wake up early morning have tea/coffee/cookies, after 2 hrs walk we will reach to the end point where our bus /jeep will be waiting and drive to Darchen (parikarma Circuit ends) and merge with other members who were waiting. After heavy breakfast, we will drive to Ali via Tirthapuri( Bhasmasur) (165 km/4274 Mtr).
 
Day 09 Fly back to Lhasa 
 
After breakfast transfer  to Ali Gunsa Airport and fly to Gonggar /Lhasa .
Overnight in Lhasa  (3800Mtr)
 
Day 10. Fly from Lhasa to Kathmandu
 
 
After breakfast transfer to International Airport  and flight to Kathmandu Airport, pick up and transfer to hotel  
(flight 1 hr. 30 minutes-1130km/14000 mtr).
 
Day 11. Departure
 
Transfer to airport/onward your journey.

Terms & Conditions

Process, Term& condition  
* Necessary to send color Scan copy of Passport of pilgrimage with name list 30 days before departure for permit processing. We need 6 Month valid ordinary Passport but Diplomat passport is not acceptable.  
 *Should deposit INR Rs 50,000 or USD $ 700 per person as advance before processing. (0 non-refundable)
* 10 days before the departure, should be deposit 50% of package price 
 *Before the Kailash departures must clear all reaming Payment. 
*Should send Indian pilgrimage’s original Passport with 4 passport size photographs to our Delhi office before 5 days from the departure date for China visa stamping. NRI/Other Citizen’s Passport will collected after arrival in Kathmandu.
  * If suddenly program has changed Due to  weather problem, natural disaster, landslide, technical problem and political movement, all additional expenses should be paid  by themselves )
Cancellation Policy:
*After process the Kailas Permit $USD 200 will be charged as cancellation.
*5 days before of departure date, INR 1,00,000/ USD 00 will be charged as cancellation.
*Same days before departure date, 70 % will be charged as cancellation
 
General Information regarding Kailash Mansarovar Tour.
Insurance: Medical Insurance not compulsory for visa processing but will useful if you do insurance in case any health problem arises during travel.
Oxygen cylinder : Our company will provide oxygen cylinder in emergency. Usually, oxygen cylinder is not required. However, some pilgrimage we prefer to carry their own handy oxygen cylinders. You may buy small portable cylinder in Tibet. It may cost approx. Yuan 20-30 per cylinder.
Food during Tour: Our cooks will be traveling with you during the entire trip. Our Staff will carry all necessary cooking items and will provide Indian vegetarian food during Yatra.
Age restriction-Chinese Authority do not permit for people aged 65 or above   .

*China Government Notice!!!-   Don’t take any picture, tape record, newspapers, political things or anything related to Dalai Lama. If found in Tibet, on the spot China Army will control and take legal action.   
 
1. All pilgrimage can carry dry foods in the journey.  2. All pilgrimage can buy Chinese SIM card at Nyalam/Kyirong /Taklakot which provides incoming service only (not out going Call service) but internet is available. 
Carry regular medicine -Diamox 250 mg. 20 tablet and Personal First Aid Kit.
Money exchange: Indian Rupees are not accepted in Tibet but is acceptable in Nepal. We will exchange the amount to Yuan for you upon your arrival.
